The experience of going solar with Alpha Solar was absolutely seamless. The salesperson, Ivan Chin was incredibly knowledgeable, attentive, reliable and patiently answering all my questions. When it came to the big day, the installation team arrived right on time and conducted themselves with total professionalism throughout the process. I am incredibly impressed by how neat and tidy the final setup is; all the conduit and wiring are perfectly tucked away, leaving my roof and side-yard looking remarkably clean. I am happy and satisfied with their service and highly recommend them to anyone ready to go solar.

He was knowledgeable, responsive, and always willing to answer my questions patiently. His professionalism and dedication gave me confidence from the initial consultation to the final installation. The installation was completed smoothly, on schedule, and with excellent workmanship. I am very satisfied with the overall experience and would highly recommend this company to anyone considering a solar energy system.

My solar project in Petaling Jaya with this provider is currently suspended due to serious technical design faults and documentation issues discovered during a safety audit. As a result, our home renovation is stalled, and we cannot move our newborn child into our new family home until this is rectified. We discovered several critical issues with the engineering drawings provided by management: - Cable Specifications: The provided design specified 25mm² battery cables, despite the manufacturer manual explicitly mandating a minimum of 50mm² copper cables to safely handle the system's maximum current. Management attempted to charge an extra RM 600 to upgrade to what is actually the manufacturer's mandatory safety specification. - Missing Safety Hardware: The design omitted a physical DC isolation circuit breaker between the high-current battery bank and the inverter chassis, and the company failed to provide a Surge Protection Device (SPD) on installation day, even though it was required due to the long PV cabling. - Efficiency Issues: The layout features two strings mounted at different roof angles connected to a 1-MPPT inverter configuration, causing permanent energy losses. - Documentation Issues: I discovered an official declaration form had been submitted to the government portal, with my signature forged, to fast-track the application without letting me see the layout prior to installation. Management admitted to the unauthorized signature in writing, blaming former staff. A formal police report has been filed regarding this matter. Escalations have been filed with SEDA and Suruhanjaya Tenaga. SEDA had to issue a strict deadline just to force the company to hand over my revised drawings. At the time of writing, the system remains un-energized as the company has yet to agree to a proper technical rectification plan. If you have an existing system with them that includes battery storage, please protect your home and have an independent engineer check your cable thickness and physical breakers. Audit everything.
