Close to 5 years already and now I am doing this review. It was nice engagement with Jack from design and planning. With a project manager liaising througout the period of renovation was the good factor. It really ease my planning and decision. Good workmanship and delivery. Highly recommended.

My experience with Jack was one of the most stressful experiences I’ve had with a contractor. We were promised that our renovation would be completed within 6 months, but it took around a year. Throughout the project, I was repeatedly asked for progress payments, yet the work was constantly delayed and I found myself having to chase for updates and completion. During the renovation, the interior designer handling my project resigned, which further disrupted the project and left me with even more uncertainty. The quality of workmanship was also disappointing. We experienced defects especially with poor carpentry. Instead of enjoying our renovated home, we have had to spend additional money fixing problems that should never have happened. In the end, I completely lost confidence in Jack’s ability to finish the project and had to engage another contractor to complete the unfinished work and rectify the defects. This significantly increased both the cost and the stress of the renovation. Based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend Jack. If you decide to engage him, ensure your contract includes strict milestone payments tied to completed work, and do not pay ahead of actual progress.

Extremely disappointing and stressful experience. Project started in May 2025 with a contractual completion timeline of 17 weeks. Nearly 12 months later, the project remained incomplete with no confirmed completion date despite repeated requests. A substantial sum was paid, yet the works were left unfinished and unsatisfactory at the point of termination. Progress throughout was inconsistent, and there appeared to be a lack of proper planning, coordination, and accountability. Despite multiple follow-ups and opportunities given to complete the project, there was no meaningful progress or commitment to a firm timeline. This ultimately left me with no choice but to terminate the contract. Due to the prolonged delay and non-performance, I have issued a Letter of Demand through my lawyers and will be proceeding with legal action if the matter is not resolved. Further escalation to the relevant authorities and industry bodies is also being considered. As a result, I am now forced to incur additional costs and time to appoint a new contractor to complete and rectify the works. Based on my experience, I strongly advise others to exercise extreme caution before engaging.
