I rarely leave reviews like this, but the way BHA Aluminium & Glass handled a genuine customer enquiry was honestly shocking. I contacted them because I was ready to engage and pay for a customised glass project, not simply asking random questions. I explained that I wanted customised curved glass furniture and repeatedly asked for their team/contractor to come to the site, take the proper measurements and discuss the design with me in person. Instead of arranging a site visit, their staff kept asking me to provide drawings, dimensions and technical details myself. I am the customer, not the architect, draughtsperson or glass contractor. For customised work, I expect the professional doing the fabrication to inspect the site, measure accurately, discuss feasibility and advise on glass thickness and specifications. I asked for two days for one simple thing: When can your team come to measure and discuss the project? I could not get a straightforward appointment. What made the experience much worse was the attitude. When I eventually contacted the person managing the matter, instead of resolving what should have been a very simple customer-service issue, I received multiple voice messages explaining why they did not have the time/manpower to come and measure. If your company does not have the capacity to take on customised work, just tell the customer from the beginning. Do not say you can do the project and then expect the customer to do the contractor’s technical work for you. The most disappointing part is that I was actively trying to give this company business. I was not asking for free design work. I was asking them to come, measure, discuss what was technically possible, quote me, and if everything was suitable, proceed with the job. A professional response could have been as simple as: “We are currently too busy to arrange a site visit, so unfortunately we cannot take on this project.” That would have been completely understandable. Instead, what should have been a straightforward business enquiry became an unnecessarily frustrating back-and-forth with both the staff and management. After seeing how the matter was handled at management level as well, I decided there was no point proceeding. If this is how a prospective customer is treated before payment has even been made, I personally would not feel comfortable trusting them with a customised project, deadlines, installation or any problem that might arise afterwards. Poor communication, poor customer handling and an unnecessarily difficult process. I took my business elsewhere. Very bad and not recommended
