Is been so tough to find a reliable contractor nowadays. Many talk all okay but when deliver all koyak. That was my personally experience during my first house renovation 10 years ago. During my second house renovation, I was recommended to Builtop by my customer. I was pretty skeptical at first with Builtop and I need to refurbish a double storey corner house which is already 30 years old. After a few session with Mr CK and team, I decided to give them a chance as it was recommended by my customer. Even I was still skeptical but the end results was marvelous. They manage to deliver exactly what I imagined how my house should looks like and how the lightning should play it's role to make my house looks and feels comfy. In the end I am happy customer as their do deliver their promised. I have to admit, there are hiccups in between but Mr CK take the responsibility to help me settle all my problems and make sure I will have a piece of mind. Fully recommend contractor that I've personally use. Thanks again Builtop for making my dream house comes true.

Scam alert I enquired about custom drawers and cabinets and was concerned by the business arrangement explained to me. They encouraged contracting and billing through their China entity instead of the Malaysian entity (Builtop mentioned by the representative) to “save costs”, and mentioned an extra ~10% charge if the Malaysian entity - is used for tax purposes. Buyers should be aware this significantly reduces legal protection in Malaysia. They also require 100% payment after a factory trial installation in China, based only on photos or video calls, before installation at your home. This carries high risk, as factory conditions do not reflect real on-site issues such as uneven walls, fitment problems, or shipping damage. Once full payment is made, customers lose all leverage if problems arise, and pursuing disputes with a China-based entity is extremely difficult and costly. Renovation is expensive — be very cautious with this type of arrangement.

We recently completed a house renovation with Builtop and couldn't be happier with the overall experience and results! The entire project was completed within a short period of 3 months timeframe! We had the opportunity and time to finalize the design and material choices before the renovation starts (that took around 1-2 months). Throughout the reno process, Suki and her team demonstrated an exceptional level of professionalism. They approached every aspect of the job with a clear sense of urgency, ensuring things kept moving forward. What particularly impressed us was her patience as she took the time to listen to our everchanging needs and our OCD on perfection, they were all addressed thoroughly. Like any renovation, we encountered a few hiccups along the way, Suki tackled them head-on, helped us resolve them promptly and to our complete satisfaction. We are super delighted with our newly renovated home and grateful for Builtop's hard work and dedication on getting to the finish line for us. I have heard stories about errant contractors who were irresponsible and at times took a very long time to complete the project. Builtop is totally the opposite! So if you are looking for a reliable and professional contractor, they are the one!
