Hi! After comparing several solar providers, I finally decided to go with GT Solar – a licensed and registered TNB contractor. The many positive reviews I read about them gave me the confidence to move forward, and now, after my own experience, I can see why so many customers speak highly of them. Recently, I had solar panels installed at my home. Although the system hasn’t been activated yet due to the renovation not being fully completed, I must say the entire process from the very first contact to the final installation was smooth, efficient, and exceptionally well-organized. The workmanship was neat, precise, and professional. A special mention goes to Jason Hue (MD of GT Solar). Jason may be a man of few words, but his depth of experience, professionalism, and efficiency speak volumes. He was punctual, responsive, and genuinely helpful throughout the process. Jason went above and beyond by assisting with my NEM application, 3-phase upgrade, and even helping with the meter relocation application and tasks that are typically handled by the M&E contractor. He also made an upfront payment to the authorities on my behalf to expedite the process, only claiming reimbursement afterward, a rare gesture that truly reflects his dedication and trustworthiness. Of course, such additional works will definitely be a charge from GT on top of the charges from TNB. If you are considering going green with a solar system, I highly recommend GT Solar. They are a reliable, professional, and service-oriented company with a strong technical team and a hands-on (on-site supervised the team), knowledgeable leader (Jason Hue). In terms of product quality, I am satisfied with the Astronergy Astro N5 640W bifacial solar panels, which feature n-type TOPCon technology for high efficiency, low degradation, as well as long-term warranties. The system is backed by Tier 1 certification and recognized as a Top Performer in global performance rankings (Ranked 7th in March 2025), giving me peace of mind that I have made a solid investment for the long run. Jason also offered me a Sungrow 12Kw Inverter (Top 2 Power Inverter Manufacturer in 2025). I will provide an update after the solar system is activated.
