Everyone, beware of these two reviewers! Cxx kxx & Vxxxxxx Lxxx—they're a couple! !!! In 27 years of business experience, this is the first time we've encountered such customers! We're truly infuriated! If you ever encounter them again, be extremely cautious! Whether you're in the same industry or not. Here's what happened: Three years ago, this wife approached our company about renovating their kitchen. From start to finish, her husband never showed up—only she. So, from measuring the kitchen, reviewing the design, and selecting materials, it was only the wife who showed up. The husband never showed up once. So, after giving us a deposit, we began work. It's normal to pay for the work done, based on the amount of work completed. So, halfway through, her husband showed up. He flatly said he didn't like the kitchen. He hadn't been there since the beginning, but when he did, he said he didn't like it and demanded a full refund. When we signed the black and white contract, we wrote that the deposit couldn't be refunded because the materials had been cut and the kitchen was halfway installed, so who would pay the costs? So, her husband started playing games, claiming that our workers had damaged their floor while installing the kitchen and threatened to file a lawsuit against us if we didn't return the deposit. We ignored them, believing they were being unreasonable! So, they took us to the Consumer Affairs Department, claiming we took the deposit but didn't install the kitchen and disappeared! But the truth was, her husband wouldn't let us into their house to install the kitchen until we were halfway through. And, most infuriatingly, all the materials and kitchen were already installed at the factory! We lost a lot of money on materials and labor! But we weren't afraid because we had everything in black and white! We took them to the Consumer Affairs Department. We went to court, presented evidence, and ultimately won. The judge said they still had to pay for the materials we had cut. After calculating the materials, labor, and other costs, they still owed us over RM8,000, and the case was closed. We can sue them if we want to recover our losses! Even though it's been three years, why am I bringing this up again? It's because I recently heard a friend of mine who makes furniture had a similar experience! It's unbelievable! While I've confirmed it wasn't them, I've realized there are actually a lot of people like them out there! So, I'm sharing this to warn others! And it wasn't just my friend. A year ago, I saw another Taiwanese influencer, Cherry Queen, and YouTuber, experience a similar situation! Although they're in the beauty industry, their methods are so similar! They were also a couple! From the beginning to the end, the wife was the one to take the stand. After the service, she started complaining about problems and being dissatisfied. The husband came out and demanded a refund, but the service had already been performed, so what? He then started throwing a tantrum, not afraid to call the police and threaten to take her to court if she didn't get a refund. Many businesses, to avoid unnecessary hassle, compromise and settle for a small sum. So, everyone should be careful; you can run into people like this in any industry!!!
