!! Everyone beware of these two review users! Cxx kxx & Vxxxxxx Lxxx, they are a married couple!!! In 27 years of experience, this is the first time we've encountered customers like this! It really infuriated us!! If you encounter them again saying they want to renovate their house, be extremely careful!! Whether you're in the same industry or not. Here's what happened: 3 years ago, this wife approached our company to renovate her kitchen. The husband never showed up, only the wife. So, for measuring the kitchen, looking at the design, and choosing materials, only the wife was there; the husband never appeared. So, after paying the deposit, we started work. The terms and conditions were as normal as we paid for the work done! So, when we were halfway through, her husband showed up. He immediately said he didn't like the kitchen, even though he hadn't been there at all. But the moment he appeared, he said he didn't like it and wanted a full refund of the deposit. Our black and white paper agreement stated that the deposit was non-refundable because the materials were already prepared, and the kitchen was only half-installed. Who would pay for the costs? So her husband started playing tricks, claiming our workers damaged their floors during installation and threatening legal action if we didn't return the deposit. We ignored them, as they were being completely unreasonable! Then they went to the Consumer Affairs Bureau to sue us, claiming we took the deposit but didn't install the kitchen and disappeared! But the truth is, we were only halfway through installation when her husband stopped allowing us into his house to install the kitchen, and what's worse, all the materials and the kitchen cabinets were already prepared at the factory!! We lost a lot of money on materials and labor!! But we weren't afraid, because we had all the written agreements! We let them sue us at the Consumer Affairs Bureau, and we went to court, presented our evidence, etc., and ultimately won. The judge said they still needed to pay us for the prepared materials, and after calculating the material and labor costs, they still owed us over RM8,000. The case is closed. We can still sue them if we want to recover our losses! Although three years have passed, why am I bringing this up again recently? It's because I recently heard that a friend of mine who works in the furniture industry encountered a similar situation!! It's unbelievable!! While I've confirmed it wasn't them, I've realized there are quite a few people like this in the world!! So I'm sharing this to warn more people! And it's not just my friend. A year ago, I saw another Taiwanese influencer, Cherry Queen, a YouTuber, experience a similar situation! Although they're in the beauty industry, their methods are so similar!! It was also a couple! The wife was the one who handled everything from beginning to end. After the service, she would say there were problems and she wasn't satisfied. Then the husband would demand a refund, but all the services had been done! Then they would make a huge scene, calling the police, threatening to take them to court if they didn't get a refund! Many businesses, to avoid unnecessary trouble, choose to compromise, even paying for minor issues! So everyone really needs to be careful; you might encounter people like this in any industry!!
