The plumbing service was extremely disappointing. The charges were expensive, yet the repair work was incomplete and poorly done. For replacing just one faucet, I was charged RM370. Not only was the installation unattractive, but the faucet was also leaking. Then I was told the wall had to be hacked open for repair, with an additional quotation of RM1480. When I asked whether matching tiles could be found, the response was very dismissive. At that point, I completely lost confidence in the workmanship. During the faucet replacement, I also asked for the shower switch handle to be changed. Everything looked fine after installation, but two days later I discovered the handle had never been properly screwed in and it came off by itself. When I messaged to ask about it, the reply I received was:“This one we just help you mam not our fault you buy wrong material LNkey screw very small.” I find this response irresponsible and unprofessional. After this incident, I contacted another plumbing service for a second opinion. The cost for hacking the wall and repairing the issue was only around RM600–700, which honestly left me speechless. I chose their service because of many positive Google reviews. However, after my experience, I genuinely do not understand how there are so many great reviews, while I ended up feeling like I was taken advantage of.

Disappointed and Shortchanged :( Contacted Yeap Leng Plumbing after seeing many positive Google reviews. Ali quoted a package involving declogging, hacking, rerouting of outlet pipes and reinstatement works. He even drew out the proposed rerouting plan and explained how it would help future maintenance. The clogging was resolved, payment was collected, Ali and his team left. Only afterward did I realise the rerouting work discussed was not actually done. The hacked area was covered back with rough cement work and uneven, cracked replacement tiles. I understand complications can happen during plumbing work. What I was very unhappy about was that this major change in scope was not properly communicated before full payment was accepted. I followed up requesting proper tile rectification and a partial refund since the rerouting work discussed was not done. Over the week, Ali promised to come 'tomorrow' four separate times, only to no-show every single time with little to no update. The communication, workmanship, reliability and after-service handling left me genuinely questioning the many positive reviews here. Customers should check carefully and clarify the exact scope of work before making full payment. Also mentioned 1 year warranty and will send receipt through Whatsapp - nothing received so far.
